Explore the Mystery of Diseases in Wooster
In this exhibit, you will explore the impacts of short term diseases, such as the Spanish Flu and Swine Flu, and long term diseases such as Tuberculosis, Polio, and HIV/AIDS on Wayne County, as well as the continuing COVID-19 crisis.

Introduction
Begin by learning a bit about how scientists have gone about solving the mystery of infectious diseases over the years.
Short Term Diseases
Although some diseases only last for a few weeks or even days, they can bring incredible and lasting harm to small communities.
Long Term Diseases
Some patients experience life-long symptoms from certain illnesses. This led to those affected fighting for treatment, accomodations, and visibility.
Conclusion
Today, our community is dealing with yet another pandemic: COVID-19. How can we use the lessons of the past to prepare us for the future?
